Leadership Role in Health Operations Management

This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a leadership role in health operations management, driving strategic and operational excellence across retail health and eye care operations.

The successful candidate will lead multi-site teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. They will be responsible for shaping the future of regional health by delivering exceptional customer experience, supporting clinical excellence, and contributing to the achievement of ambitious growth strategy goals.

To succeed in this role, you will require strong experience in strategy development, service delivery, and people leadership. You must have proven success in senior roles overseeing clinical or health-related service operations, with tertiary or post-graduate qualifications in Health Operations, Business, or Leadership. Expertise in regulatory compliance, governance, and continuous improvement is also essential.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex operational systems, oversee performance metrics, and optimise end-to-end service delivery to meet evolving community needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive strategic and operational leadership of retail health and eye care operations across Geelong and regional areas.
  • Partner with the Director of Clinical Care to deliver integrated business outcomes, ensuring high-quality patient care, commercial success, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and empower multi-site teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Shape the future of regional health by delivering exceptional customer experience, supporting clinical excellence, and helping achieve GMHBA's ambitious growth strategy.
  • Manage complex operational systems, oversee performance metrics, and optimise end-to-end service delivery to meet evolving community needs.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary or post-graduate qualifications in Health Operations, Business, or Leadership.
  • Proven success in senior roles overseeing clinical or health-related service operations.
  • Strong experience in strategy development, service delivery, and people leadership.
  • Ability to lead through complexity in a multi-brand, regional environment.
  • Expertise in regulatory compliance, governance, and continuous improvement.
