**About the facility**

The Child Health Research Unit (CHRU) led by Prof Peter Vuillermin is made up of multidisciplinary team who are committed to improving child health outcomes. Two significant research projects are run through CHRU; the Barwon Infant Study (BIS) and the Environmental Determinants of Islet Autoimmunity Study (ENDIA).

**About the role**

Are you passionate about child health and interested in a career in research?

The Barwon Infant Study (BIS) is looking for a full-time Research Operations Coordinator and Research Assistant to oversee the school and clinic-based assessments on 8-13 year old children, as part of the BIS Primary School review.

In this role the Research Operations Coordinator will:

- Contribute to the implementation and quality of the Barwon Infant Study Primary School Review.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of team morale and function
- Effectively liaise with a wide variety of stakeholders in a way that optimises project function.
- Work actively with groups of children and their families, including transporting to and from CHRU, schools, homes and other community locations
