
Strategic Business Growth Manager

A key member of the National Leadership Team will be responsible for overseeing and spearheading the development and implementation of short- and long-term growth strategies and plans for business expansion, customer acquisition, referrer conversion and retention.
This role involves helping to shape strategic relationships that unlock growth for Indigenous businesses, supporting customer relationship-building initiatives and facilitating cross-selling opportunities. An experienced people leader is required to coach and mentor their team to success, while living and leading by core values and promoting a supportive and cohesive culture.
To succeed in this role, one must stay up-to-date with current market trends, analysis and identification of revenue opportunities whilst building strong relationships with key stakeholders. A naturally engaging leader possessing a customer-focused mentality, highly service-oriented, and able to guide, direct and advise on the Indigenous business development environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement growth strategies and plans for business expansion, customer acquisition, referrer conversion and retention.
- Help shape strategic relationships that unlock growth for Indigenous businesses.
- SUPPORT customer relationship-building initiatives and facilitate cross-selling opportunities.
- Coach and mentor team members to success.
- Live and lead by core values, promote a supportive and cohesive culture.
An ideal candidate should have a proven track record in leading business development within financial services, including strategic account management. They should also possess demonstrated capability in strategy development and execution, experience in establishing performance frameworks including setting goals and targets and reporting on results.
Familiarity with launching new products, entering new markets and developing go-to-market strategies that resulted in revenue growth is also desirable. Additionally, the ability to lead and effectively manage the performance, output and development of direct reports is crucial.
