Sales and Business Growth Manager – MICE Event Specialist
About the OpportunityWe are seeking a dynamic and proactive Sales and Business Growth Manager to drive conference and event sales, build lasting client relationships, and deliver exceptional experiences.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategic sales plans for conferences, meetings, and events, driving business growth and revenue.
- Proactively source new business through cold calling, networking, and industry events, identifying opportunities and turning them into successful partnerships.
- Conduct site inspections and familiarisation tours to showcase our facilities, highlighting their capabilities and features.
- Negotiate contracts, prepare tailored proposals, and close sales, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences from planning to execution, guaranteeing satisfaction and loyalty.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay competitive, always staying ahead of the curve.
- Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in hospitality, MICE, or events, with a strong understanding of the industry's needs and challenges.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients and partners.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with a talent for articulating complex ideas and convincing others.
