Job Title: Asset Portfolio Specialist
About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Asset Portfolio Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering loan portfolios on behalf of clients, including processing interest, drawdowns, and repayments on loan facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administration of loan portfolios, including processing interest, drawdowns, and repayments on loan facilities;
  • Reporting of loan positions to clients, borrowers, and lenders;
  • Maintenance of unit registries;
  • Calculation and issuance of capital calls and distributions notices;
  • Monitoring of client bank accounts and identification of transactions;
  • Onboarding of new client mandates and solutions, including adoption of new technologies;
  • Collaboration with the immediate team, both locally and remotely;
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND INTERMEDIARIES, INCLUDING AUDITORS, TAX ADVISORS, CUSTODIANS, AND OTHER PARTIES;
  • Contribution to the ongoing growth and development of our Melbourne office as the business continues to grow in scale and complexity.


Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics, or other related disciplines;
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred;
  • Knowledge of the funds industry, specifically alternative investment funds or debt products, would be highly regarded;
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness;
  • Technical capacity to adapt to new technological platforms;
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on finance and business;
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Detailed oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations.
