Job Title: Asset Portfolio Manager

This is a senior role within our water supply and drainage portfolio, where you will lead innovative projects, build collaborative relationships, and bring modern asset management strategies to life.

You'll take the lead in developing and implementing processes that ensure our asset management framework continues to deliver world-class performance.

About The Role

This position offers a chance to drive business growth, develop strategic partnerships, and shape the future of asset management across the region.

You'll play a central role in overseeing the development and implementation of asset safety policies, procedures, and standards across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dam Safety Management: Provide technical expertise as dam safety subject matter expert in asset management through project delivery and oversight of project intent.
  • Asset Inspection and Maintenance: Program and lead asset condition inspections, design reviews, engineering analysis, and risk assessments across the water supply and drainage portfolios.
  • Data Analysis: Develop and review surveillance regimes and respond to, analyse, and interpret collected data and physical observations from field staff to determine performance and potential emergency alert levels for assets.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Monitor and report on compliance with Regulatory and duty of care obligations for asset safety including management of risk profile data, emergency response plans, operations, and maintenance.
  • Maintenance Strategies: Monitor and develop maintenance strategies for assets within the headworks portfolio.
  • Consultant Management: Manage consultants through project investigations, analysis, risk assessments, and project development stages including design.
  • Business Case Development: Investigate and develop business cases for small to medium scale risk reduction, renewals, and service improvement projects across the Headworks portfolio.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, strong analytical abilities, and a proven track record in asset management.
