Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our high-performing team as an Asset Portfolio Coordinator. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support to ensure the proactive and effective management of a diverse national industrial (and some commercial & retail) property portfolio.

About the Role
  • This is a key role in our business, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • The Asset Portfolio Coordinator will work closely with property management teams to implement tenant engagement strategies and assist in the preparation of reports and analysis.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in property, land economics, accounting, finance or similar, and previous experience in asset management, property analysis or valuations (industrial sector preferred).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support to the Portfolio Manager in managing the portfolio.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and analysis, including arrears collection, lease analysis, and operational/financial reporting.
  • Support leasing campaigns – set rent targets, analyse deals, prepare/review transaction documents, negotiate directly with tenants, and manage agent performance.
  • Work closely with property management teams to implement tenant engagement strategies.
  • Coordinate annual outgoings budgets, reconciliations, and communication to tenants.
  • Assist with preparing annual asset plans, investor updates, reforecasts, and annual reports.
  • Support the delivery of capital expenditure projects on time and within budget.
  • Review valuations and assist in the annual budgeting process.
  • Maintain up-to-date market knowledge to identify opportunities and risks.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in property, land economics, accounting, finance or similar.
  • Previous experience in asset management, property analysis or valuations (industrial sector preferred).
  • Strong understanding of property fundamentals and valuation drivers.
  • Skilled in lease negotiations and delivering successful leasing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, results-driven, and a collaborative team player.
