Senior Asset Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Investment Solutions Specialist to deliver tailored investment solutions within our growing team. This is a key role that blends deep technical expertise in portfolio construction and asset consulting with the ability to foster long-term, trusted partnerships with financial advisers and their clients.
This is a senior position within our team, responsible for delivering tailored investment services to leading financial advice firms.
You'll work closely with clients to design and manage bespoke portfolios that reflect their investment philosophy, objectives, and risk profile, while aligning with the recommendations of our Investment Committee. This includes portfolio construction, asset allocation, manager selection, risk management, and trading oversight.
The role requires strong client engagement skills, deep investment expertise, and the ability to partner with financial advisers to deliver disciplined, high-conviction solutions.
Responsibilities:- Portfolio Construction: Build and manage tailored portfolios that align with client needs and our investment philosophy.
- Client Relationship Management: Lead client relationships and serve as the primary contact.
- Investment View Communication: Communicate investment views and present recommendations to client investment committees.
- Reporting and Documentation: Oversee the preparation of client reporting and investment committee packs.
- FUM and Revenue Growth: Drive FUM and revenue growth across the client base.
- Manager Research Collaboration: Work closely with the Manager Research team on manager selection and portfolio construction.
- Proprietary Tools Application: Apply our proprietary tools for portfolio modelling, trading, and risk management.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 10+ years' experience in investment management, asset consulting or investment research.
- Investment Knowledge: Strong knowledge of portfolio construction, asset allocation and financial advice processes.
- Financial Adviser Experience: Proven experience working with financial advisers.
- Client-Facing Skills: Excellent client-facing and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Research Capability: Strong quantitative and qualitative research capability.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
