Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Manage Centurion's motor vehicle insurance claims from inception through to finalisation
  • Register and evaluate claims to ensure prompt settlement
  • Liaise with internal staff, clients, and third parties to facilitate efficient claim processing
  • Negotiate insurance claims and disputes with customers to achieve satisfactory outcomes
  • Respond to enquiries from brokers, loss adjusters, customers, and suppliers to maintain open communication
  • Manage cost recovery against external parties where claims thresholds are not met
  • Assist finance with the settlement process, create purchase orders, and seek approvals as needed
  • Maintain the claims follow-up system to ensure seamless case management
  • Document the closure of cases to ensure accurate records
  • Attend and contribute to team meetings to foster collaboration and idea-sharing

Skill Requirements

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills enable effective stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to collaborate and engage meaningfully with internal and external stakeholders is essential
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or ANZIIF certifications are highly regarded but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end claims management is necessary for success in this role
