Key Responsibilities and Tasks
- Manage Centurion's motor vehicle insurance claims from inception through to finalisation
- Register and evaluate claims to ensure prompt settlement
- Liaise with internal staff, clients, and third parties to facilitate efficient claim processing
- Negotiate insurance claims and disputes with customers to achieve satisfactory outcomes
- Respond to enquiries from brokers, loss adjusters, customers, and suppliers to maintain open communication
- Manage cost recovery against external parties where claims thresholds are not met
- Assist finance with the settlement process, create purchase orders, and seek approvals as needed
- Maintain the claims follow-up system to ensure seamless case management
- Document the closure of cases to ensure accurate records
- Attend and contribute to team meetings to foster collaboration and idea-sharing
Skill Requirements
- Strong communication and negotiation skills enable effective stakeholder engagement
- Ability to collaborate and engage meaningfully with internal and external stakeholders is essential
- Tertiary qualifications and/or ANZIIF certifications are highly regarded but not mandatory
- Demonstrated experience in end-to-end claims management is necessary for success in this role
