About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences during challenging times. This position involves managing low-complexity claims from start to finish, including accurate data capture and updates, confirmation of policy coverage, and liability determination through fact-gathering and relevant law application.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Claims Management: Oversee end-to-end management of low-complexity Workers Compensation claims, ensuring timely and smooth resolution.
  • Coverage & Liability Assessment: Gather facts, apply relevant laws, and issue necessary notices and correspondence for new and ongoing claims.
  • Data Accuracy: Capture and update claims information according to best practices and compliance standards.
  • Standards Adherence: Ensure all claims activities meet established governance requirements, policies, procedures, and relevant Workers Compensation legislation.
  • Customer Communication: Provide regular updates and support to customers, ensuring they feel informed and cared for throughout their claim.
  • Medical Support Coordination: Organize medical examinations and investigations to facilitate customers' return to work.
  • Team Support: Assist colleagues with workload by helping with administrative tasks, updating records, and ensuring documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Improvement Contributions: Participate in team projects, follow established procedures, and seek guidance when needed to maintain high quality and consistency.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Manage end-to-end claims, including assessing liability, gathering information, and achieving timely resolution. Ideally, you bring 1–2 years' experience handling Workers Compensation claims.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant Workers Compensation legislation, policies, and compliance requirements is advantageous.
  • Customer Focus: You have a background in a customer-facing role, with a strong focus on delivering positive experiences and effective communication.
  • Analytical Skills: You can analyze information, interpret legislation, and make well-informed decisions.
  • Professional Skills: Experience working in a professional office environment, demonstrating strong computer literacy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
