We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Operations Assistant.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in one of Australia's most iconic locations, surrounded by natural beauty and rich cultural heritage.

The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute to delivering exceptional tourism experiences and making a positive impact on the local community.


Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with tour preparation by ensuring the safety and presentation of vehicles and vessels.
  • Support guest check-in processes, adhering to permit conditions and safety procedures.
  • Provide operational support to the Tours team and assist with guiding activities as trained and qualified.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, promoting our property and park services to increase visitor numbers and extend visitor stay.

Requirements

Essential:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role or front-of-house operations with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to perform physical duties including cleaning, refueling, and equipment handling.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills with a strong customer service focus.
  • Driver's license.
  • H Endorsement and Light Rigid License or higher.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with reservation systems.
  • Knowledge for Tour Guides accreditation.
  • Previous experience in tour operations, tourism, or remote area work.
  • Passion for Indigenous culture, natural environments, and sustainable tourism.
