Tour Operations Manager

Located in the heart of Kakadu National Park, our resort offers a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural heritage. As a Tour Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the dedicated Tours department through effective customer service and logistical management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall operations of the Tours division, ensuring high-quality guest experiences through exceptional service delivery, logistics management, and product development.
  • Optimize team rostering to maximize revenue and efficiency.
  • Drive the recruitment, training, and development of tour guides, championing sustainable employment and cultural engagement.
  • Maintain key stakeholder relationships, including Parks Australia and Traditional Owners, promoting respectful collaboration and community involvement.
Requirements
  • Proven leadership in high-volume tourism operations, ideally in remote or regional Australia, with a passion for Indigenous tourism and cultural interpretation.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales, financial planning, and team development.
  • Driver's license mandatory (LR or MR preferable) and Kakadu knowledge highly regarded;
  • H endorsement desirable.
