Support Worker Multi Skilled

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker Multi Skilled to join our team in Safety Bay and surrounding areas. As a Support Worker, you will work alongside customers with varying support needs to provide tailored person-centered services and activities of their choice.
Key Responsibilities- Provide domestic assistance services to customers, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Assist customers with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support customers with mobility and transfer needs
- Engage with customers in activities of their choice, such as hobbies, exercise, or social events
- Collaborate with other professionals, including healthcare providers and social workers, to ensure comprehensive support
- Certificate III Individual Support - Aged Care or Disability, or other relevant qualification
- Experience working with seniors, people on the mental health recovery journey, and those living with disability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions
- Reliable and roadworthy motor vehicle to travel to customers homes and assist them to access the community
- Comprehensive motor vehicle insurance and registration
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one prior to commencing employment)
- Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply)
