We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Chorus. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting seniors and NDIS customers to remain in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide tailored person-centered services and activities to meet the diverse needs of our customers
- Work collaboratively with customers, their families, carers, and community agencies to ensure seamless support
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, built on trust, respect, and open communication
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment, promoting the dignity and autonomy of all customers
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Certificate III Individual Support - Aged Care or Disability, or other relevant qualification
- Experience working with seniors, people on the mental health recovery journey, and those living with disability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer-centered care
- Current Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions, and a reliable and roadworthy motor vehicle
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one prior to commencing employment)
- Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willingness to apply)
- A competitive hourly rate of $31.04
- Attractive salary packaging options (up to $15,900 per year tax-free) and an additional $2,650 for Meals and Entertainment
