We are seeking a dedicated professional to oversee health and safety practices across our operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical guidance on the implementation of our Safety Management System.
  • Developing and implementing health and safety systems in compliance with legal and company requirements.
  • Creating and implementing site hygiene monitoring and fitness-for-work programs.
  • Managing workers' compensation and rehabilitation processes.
  • Assisting in developing and implementing Emergency Response and Crisis Management Plans.
  • Maintaining systems for monitoring employee exposure to industrial hazards.
  • Ensuring all employees possess the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely.

About You:

  • You must hold a thorough understanding of QLD statutory obligations relevant to Workplace Health and Safety.
  • Possess a Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety as a minimum.
  • Hold a certificate in Rehabilitation Coordination and have experience with Workers Compensation cases.
  • Demonstrate resilience in adapting to changing environments and a positive attitude, reliability, and proactive work ethic.
  • Show a strong commitment to personal safety and team safety.
