Senior Contracts Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Contracts Administrator to join our team on commercial new build projects. The successful candidate will work with an established group, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

About the Role:

  • Contract Administration: Reviewing and negotiating contracts to ensure timely resolution and minimize risks.
  • Liaising with Stakeholders: Collaborating with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
  • Monitoring Contract Performance: Tracking contract performance, variations, and claims to ensure effective project management.
  • Maintaining Accurate Records: Maintaining detailed documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator in the commercial construction industry.
  • Location: Brisbane based.
  • Skill Set: Sound knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Soft Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational Abilities: Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Time Management: Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
