About the Role

This position involves providing technical contract administration and oversight for commercial activities within allocated projects. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, you will support projects in delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review contract notices and variations for internal review.
  • Maintain commercial registers.
  • Ensure performance and delivery of project scope.
  • Assess event impacts, manage claims and extensions of time (EOTs).
  • Support accurate progress claims, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Follow contract manuals and lead change management, including design changes.
  • Coordinate prompt issuance of subcontracts and supply contracts, ensuring compliance.
  • Drive contract management processes, including variation and change claims.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (procurement, finance, legal, controls).
  • Assist in negotiations and dispute resolution; provide data for upstream claims.
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Project Management, Law, Commerce, Engineering, or similar.
  • Extensive experience in commercial/contract management for construction, services, or manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with InEight is advantageous.
  • Expertise in both traditional and collaborative contracting.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communicator in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of warranty, defects, acceptance, testing, and commissioning.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and lead teams to resolve issues.
