Key Contract Management Position

Contract Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our contract management function in Brisbane. This is a part-time telework position that may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project.

The successful candidate will work closely with other functional departments, including Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls and Startup and Commissioning to identify and operationalise opportunities for improved project performance.

  • Manage contract compliance with a focus on identifying and mitigating project risks and delivering positive project outcomes.
  • Ensure management of the contract complies with internal practices and requirements, including performance against the agreed baseline, risk management, and change management.
  • Participate in project-related meetings and work closely with other functional departments to identify and operationalise opportunities for improved project performance.
  • Facilitate resolution of contractual and commercial issues (including liaising with internal stakeholders) as they arise.
  • Support the development and delivery of ongoing project training on a variety of commercial matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to select appropriate and innovative methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for solving issues and obtaining outstanding results.
  • Prioritizing customer centricity - both internally and externally - is key to resolving commercial challenges while preserving strong relationships.
