About the Role

The Gifts in Will Manager is a strategic and hands-on role that requires an understanding of best practice in bequest fundraising and relationship building. The primary responsibility is to develop and implement integrated strategies to increase visibility of Gifts in Wills to Taronga, increase the donor pipeline to secure future revenue growth through gifts in Wills, and steward the relationship with existing confirmed bequestors.

Key Accountabilities
  • Build relationships with new and existing bequestors
  • Develop a multi-channel Gifts in Wills growth strategy to drive new bequest leads into the pipeline and move more people through stages of consideration
  • Implement the donor Gifts in Will strategy, including multi-channels of communication and engagement, resulting in a growing volume of donors pledging to remember Taronga in their Wills
  • Design and implement a donor stewardship journey for confirmed bequestors to retain them in the program
  • Create inspiring materials, communications, and events to inspire current and prospective bequestors
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to maximise and integrate bequest lead generation activities, conversion strategies, and retention across all engagement programs
  • Report on and forecast bequest pipeline growth and income
  • Monitor trends and best practice in legacy fundraising to inspire the growth of the Taronga bequest program
About You

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, ideally in a similar role. The ideal candidate will have a current NSW Drivers License or the ability to have an existing license formally recognised, including manual. A NSW Working with Children Check is also required.
