**ROLE**

Interested in using your Gifts in Wills or philanthropy fundraising experience and looking for an opportunity to flex your strategic donor stewardship skills? This role would suit someone looking to step up in their career. You’ll get to contribute to and execute strategy, and work with a highly professional fundraising team at a time of significant investment and growth.

Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, you will play a vital role in contributing to and delivering the
**bequest** program. This role would suit an evidence-based fundraiser looking to build on their philanthropy fundraising, individual giving/mass marketing experience with strong relationship and collaboration skills.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Work with Individual Giving Manager to develop and implement strategies for bequest donors in line with budget and goals
- Deliver growth, managing stewardship of existing bequestors whilst building a pipeline of new prospects
- Implement strategies to identify GIW confirmed and prospective supporters through phone calls, cards, notes letters and some personal visits
- Manage all communications including preparing data, reporting and follow ups.
- Nurture and develop relationships with estate planners and solicitors
- Efficiently administer all legal aspects of GIW program including estate management
- Research and keep informed of best practise methods for Gift in Will supporters.

**YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES**
- A few years’ experience in fundraising highly regarded (bequest fundraising/philanthropy preferable)
- Exceptionally high emotional intelligence and communication skills. Confident and articulate with a mature and sensitive approach.
- Proven relationship management and networking skills, with an ability to build meaningful relationships with multiple stakeholders
- High level project management skills with proven experience of meeting objectives and targets
- Strong empathy and compassion with genuine passion for mission and works with integrity
- Excellent creative judgement with strong verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative worker with strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Tenacious and adaptable with a solution focussed attitude and ability to take initiative and passion for the cause
- Positive can-do attitude with strong work ethic and ability to manage relationships.
- Meticulous attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving skills and manage competing priorities
- Ability to travel interstate
