We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Concierge to join our team at The Darling, a luxury hotel that embodies glamour and individuality.

Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Concierge desk, ensuring a positive guest experience and promoting The Star Sydney as a leading destination.

You will be the face of our hotel, welcoming guests, anticipating their needs, and assisting with arrivals and departures. Your excellent communication skills and ability to handle guest queries in a timely and professional manner will ensure seamless service delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and add value to the activities of all team members
  • Welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and assist with arrivals and departures
  • Ensure guest queries are handled in a timely and professional manner
  • Create a positive work environment that facilitates team member motivation, builds morale, and teamwork
  • Promote and share knowledge about our beautiful city and local area, ensuring our hotel guests experience the seamless level of service they expect from a luxury hotel

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or guest service supervisor/management role is desirable
  • Outstanding passion to deliver excellent guest service
  • Opera Property Management System (PMS) experience or similar
  • Bilingual/Multilingual is advantageous
  • Flexibility to work in a full-time capacity across a 24/7 roster (including mornings, evenings, and weekends)

About You:

You will have a motivated, proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to support various tasks and a team. This is a guest-facing role where you can showcase your passion for service, interpersonal skills, and enthusiasm for creating a 5-star experience.
