Claims Management Professional
We are seeking an experienced Claims Management Professional to join our team at Allianz Australia. As a Claims Management Professional, you will provide technical and legal knowledge to claims staff and customers, supporting their growth and development while ensuring operational controls and processes are in place.
About the Role:
- Manage and resolve complex claims cases, providing technical and legal advice to claims staff and customers.
- Develop and implement effective operational controls and processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Lead and mentor claims staff, providing guidance and support to address technical queries and case management challenges.
- Contribute to team goals, assist colleagues, and foster a positive working environment.
- Demonstrate leadership within the team, setting a positive example through behaviour modelling.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational controls and processes.
About You:
- Proven experience in claims management, preferably in Workers' Compensation or Personal Injury schemes.
- Strong technical and legal knowledge of Victorian Workers' Compensation legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
