This is an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Officer to join our team and make a meaningful impact in the public sector.
- As a Human Resources Officer, you will provide comprehensive HR generalist advice to ensure consistent application of policies, procedures, and relevant legislation across the business area.
- You will partner with senior management teams to address business needs and enhance workforce capabilities throughout the entire employee lifecycle.
- Actively participate in HR projects and initiatives by collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes that align with organisational goals.
- Contribute meaningfully to the development, implementation, and review of human resources policies, procedures, and guidelines ensuring they remain current and effective.
- Analyse workforce data meticulously and present accurate reports to both internal and external stakeholders for informed decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience providing high-quality HR generalist advice within a public sector environment while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Key qualifications include:
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with senior management teams on workforce planning issues including recruitment processes, policy development, learning initiatives, health promotion activities, safety protocols, and overall employee wellbeing.
- Strong track record of contributing positively to HR projects or initiatives by collaborating constructively with various stakeholders for shared success.
- Excellent organisational abilities allowing you to manage multiple priorities such as monitoring shared mailboxes or updating digital platforms efficiently.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills which enable you to build dependable relationships internally as well as externally while meeting operational requirements promptly.

This is a temporary contract with potential to extend. Salary is negotiable.
