Title and Summary

This role is responsible for acquiring, engaging, and retaining customers by managing fraud and risk, enhancing cybersecurity, and improving the digital payments experience. We provide value-added services and leverage expertise, data-driven insights, and execution.

We are seeking a strategic sales professional to join our Loyalty & Personalization Consulting practice in APAC. Our Practice is one of the fastest-growing businesses within Mastercard, and we are seeking someone to fuel our growth in the region by continuing to drive Business Development.

Responsibilities

  1. Drive growth: Expand our business in AP, with a specific focus on the Australian and New Zealand markets by identifying and developing new client relationships and growing existing ones.
  2. Provide expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our loyalty consulting services and broader industry trends to tailor our services to client needs.
  3. Own the sale: Responsible for selling our loyalty consulting services, including defining scope and finalizing pricing, in collaboration with Sales and Consulting Delivery partners.
  4. Lead clients: Cultivate lasting relationships with senior clients (VP+) at leading brands, becoming a trusted partner who provides sound advice throughout the sales process and project delivery.
  5. Collaborate effectively: Work closely with partners in Sales, Delivery, and Product to ensure we bring the best of our services to our clients.
  6. Manage sales pipeline: Responsible for running and processing sales pipelines.

Requirements

  • Experience in loyalty, CRM, digital marketing, and/or personalization at an established brand or top consulting firm.
  • Experience working as a consultant or in a professional services role, with experience selling within the retail, travel, or hospitality industry.
  • Strong executive presence with experience engaging with regional and multinational company executives.
  • Proven ability to secure internal buy-ins and navigate complex matrix organizations.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in dynamic situations.
  • Experience navigating ambiguity in high-growth, unstructured environments.
  • Understanding of the interaction between business and technology.
  • High level of entrepreneurship, creativity, ownership, and business acumen.
