Job Description

Ridley, a leading animal nutrition company, is seeking an enthusiastic Mill Production Operator to join their team in Carrick. The role involves working on a rotating shift structure and requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful applicant will have a strong understanding of health and safety policies and legislation, as well as experience working with manual and repetitive tasks. They will also be required to have good communication skills, be physically fit, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with relevant OHS/WHS legislation including taking reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others.
  • Participate in all relevant training and personal development.
  • Ensure all aspects of the manufacturing process are planned and executed within acceptable tolerances and to site targets.
  • Accurately inventory reconciliation and reporting to site management.
  • Identify and report non-conformances as per Ridley process.
  • Test and unload incoming raw materials and products.
  • Test and load outgoing finished products.
  • Check off and verify incoming products and materials.

Key Requirements:

  • Sound knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation.
  • Be able to work shift work and overtime.
  • Have good communication skills.
  • Physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks.
  • Be able to work in a team environment to meet all targets.
  • Be reliable and motivated.
  • Sound computing skills.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Current Forklift Licence.
