Job Role

This role is responsible for the operation and maintenance of advanced aquaculture systems, ensuring optimal water quality parameters. It also involves handling all stages of salmon life, including the careful management of broodstock. Additionally, this position requires calculating feeding rates and managing feed supplies to ensure optimal fish health and growth.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor hatchery systems to maintain optimal water quality.
  • Manage the life cycle of salmon, from egg to harvest, including the care of large broodstock.
  • Determine optimal feeding rates to promote healthy fish growth.
Requirements
  • Able to work in physically demanding environments with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
  • Display a proactive approach to safety and be a team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Will to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
  • Hold a current driver's license.
