Job Title

Mill Production Operator Position Summary
This is a challenging role requiring the ability to work in a dynamic production environment, managing various processes and ensuring high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage manufacturing processes, adhering to specified tolerances and site targets.
  • Fill and package 20kg bags of finished feed for customer orders, empty storage silos into designated bins, and prepare bulk bags of finished feeds as required.
  • Conduct accurate inventory reconciliation and reporting to site management.
  • Maintain plant and equipment in safe working condition at all times.
  • Report any staff or workplace issues to Site Manager.
  • Identify and report non-conformances according to Ridley's process.
  • Test and unload incoming raw materials and products, check off and verify incoming products and materials, and prepare hand tip weighing of premixes accurately for each production run of finished feed.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation.
  • Able to work shift work and overtime.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Physically fit to undertake manual and repetitive tasks.
  • Be able to work in a team environment to meet all targets.
  • Reliable and motivated.
  • Sound computing skills.
  • Able to work in Office and AX programs.
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Current Forklift Licence.
