Currently, we are seeking an Aquaculture Specialist who is passionate about the industry and ready to join our dynamic team operating out of Triabunna on the East Coast of Tasmania.

About the Role

This is a shift role working a 7/7 roster with a base hourly rate starting from $33.31 per hour. The primary role is to upkeep the feed barge and feeding infrastructure on the lease. This hands-on position will cover:

- Rope tying;
- Welding of feeding pipes;
- Cleaning and maintenance of feed cameras and sensors;
- Regular maintenance of the feeding systems on board the barge;
- Quality assurance of floating infrastructure;
- On occasions assist in other farming operations;
- Stock protection rigging;
- Fish care;
- Environmental protection practices;
- Inputting nets; and
- General labouring duties on the water.

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to:

- Be physically fit;
- Be enthusiastic and a reliable team player;
- Have an interest in aquaculture;
- Have the right to work full time in Australia;
- Successfully pass an alcohol and drug test and pre-employment medical;
- Have a current drivers' licence; and
- **Have a coxswain ticket and DLMA** (desired but not essential).
