This is a crucial role within our retail leasing and centre management team, requiring the efficient coordination of all stages of the lease documentation process. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and updating leasing template documents and forms for all properties.
- Instructing solicitors to prepare formal Lease documents in a timely manner upon receipt of landlord approval.
- Preparing Disclosure Statements based on approved Letters of Offer and liaising with property managers as required.
- Coordinating review of draft documents with senior leasing executives and property managers.
- Compiling comments on drafts and advising solicitors to update documents accordingly.
- Sending final draft documents to tenants and distributing fully executed Lease documents after registration with Landgate.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 3 years' experience in the retail property industry, strong Microsoft Office skills, and knowledge of the Commercial Tenancy (Retail Shops) Act. Required attributes include high attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and well-developed planning and organisational abilities.
