About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to become a key member of our leasing team, responsible for prospecting potential tenants, assisting with leasing matters and providing exceptional customer service throughout the transaction. As a Leasing Agent, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our agency's property management operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect potential tenants to generate leads and conversion opportunities
  • Assist the property managers in handling leasing matters, including rent collection, lease renewals and negotiations
  • Provide first-class customer service to clients and tenants, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Schedule and conduct home opens and private viewings to showcase properties to prospective tenants
  • Screen prospective tenants to assess their suitability for properties
  • Qualify tenants by evaluating their rental applications and financial credentials
  • Prepare lease documents and other necessary paperwork for property transactions
  • Deliver inspection feedback and advice to the property management team to inform decision-making
Requirements:
  • A background in real estate, preferably in property management administration, leasing or as an assistant property manager, would be ideal
  • Alternatively, candidates with a customer service background and sales/marketing skills may also be considered
  • Current PM Registration or willingness to obtain is essential
  • A valid driver's license and reliable use of a vehicle are required
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential traits for this role
