Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Member Logistics to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a wide range of truck driving, plant operation and labouring tasks as part of a multi-disciplined team that provides support to council's teams responsible for the construction and maintenance of council infrastructure assets in accordance with recognised standards.

  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to undertake specialised tasks including operation and maintenance of Council plant, vehicles, equipment and tools.
  • They will also have current Heavy Vehicle Driver Licence (HC) or above that is active and maintained.
  • Additionally, the candidate should have RIIMPO321B – Conduct Civil Construction Wheeled Front End Loader Operations and Construction Industry White/Blue Card.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Undertake a wide range of truck driving, plant operation and labouring tasks as part of a multi-disciplined team.
  • Operate and maintain council plant, vehicles, equipment and tools in a competent and proficient manner.
  • Demonstrate physical agility and dexterity to carry out labouring with frequent heavy lifting and bending.
  • Maintain harmony within a team and foster good working relationships with council employees and members of the public.

Other Information

Please note that the successful candidate will be required to hold a current Driver Licence Class Heavy-Combination (HC) or above and undergo regular training and assessment to maintain their qualification.
