We are seeking experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners to join our team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disability.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for professionals who share our passion for improving the lives of individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours. As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be working closely with NDIS participants and their families to develop and implement evidence-based, positive behaviour support plans.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting person-centred assessments and planning with NDIS participants and their families
- Developing and implementing evidence-based, positive behaviour support plans
- Promoting the elimination of restrictive practices through education and practical strategies
- Working collaboratively to build capacity in families and support networks
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Extensive experience working within the NDIS framework and supporting individuals with disabilities
- Qualified Behaviour Support Practitioners or professionals with extensive experience in the disability sector
- Passion for supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours
- Strong report writing skills and the ability to translate assessment findings into clear, actionable plans
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to balance a dynamic caseload
- Proactive, solution-focused attitude with excellent people skills
