Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Minor Injuries Practitioner to provide frontline care and management of patients presenting with undifferentiated minor injuries and ailments.

The practitioner will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with minor injuries such as lacerations, sprains and strains, fractures, bites and stings, infected wounds, head injuries, eye problems, sports injuries, minor burns and scalds.
  • Perform wound closure and minor joint and fracture reduction.
  • Radiological requests within protocols.
  • Educate patients and families about injury prevention and post-treatment care.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
