Current Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Estimator to assess domestic and commercial insurance claims. This role involves generating precise reports, scopes of work, estimates, and comprehensive tender packages.
- Conducting site evaluations to identify damage causes and producing accurate reports and estimates.
- Preparing and submitting tender packages that meet client specifications while coordinating supplier quotations.
- Creating and communicating preliminary work schedules, reviewing job documentation, and maintaining service levels.
- Supporting customer service staff, keeping clients informed, and liaising with suppliers.
- Generating budgets and cost reports for management and being available for emergency work coordination as needed.
- A background in building trades or a tertiary qualification in building and construction.
- A solid understanding of domestic and commercial industry practices is advantageous.
- Relevant experience in a similar role within the insurance sector.
- A proactive leader who enjoys mentoring team members and is eager to contribute to business growth.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to think independently and creatively while under pressure.
Additional Requirements
The successful candidate will need to provide a national police check certificate and a working with children card.
