Job Title: Spare Parts Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Spare Parts Interpreter to provide expert advice and support to our customers and workshops.

  • This role requires a high level of accuracy in parts interpretation and processing orders.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, preferably with Pentana systems, and working knowledge of parts and accessories for heavy duty vehicles.

Safe and compliant operation of forklift at all times is also a requirement.

A key focus of this role will be on developing strong customer relationships internally and externally.

The successful candidate will work closely with the North Queensland Workshop Manager in Cairns and report directly to the National Parts Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide parts advice and support to customers and workshops internally and externally.
  • Liaise with service, sales and workshop staff.
  • Raise purchase orders and associated parts administration within VDI's systems.
  • Manage parts inventory, including monitoring supply risks.
  • Warehouse duties: pick, pack, dispatch and receive parts where necessary, including forklift operation.
  • Respond to incoming inquiries by phone, email or face-to-face.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform stocktakes as required.
  • Ensure timely delivery of great customer service.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably with Pentana systems.
  • Working knowledge of parts and accessories for heavy duty vehicles.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Prior experience with freight processes for delivering goods to customers.
  • Safe and compliant operation of forklift at all times.
