CJ Aerospace is a market leader in the distribution of aircraft spare parts in Australia. With over 20 staff across Cairns and Sydney locations, we support operators of medium turboprop aircraft including the King Air, Caravan, Twin Otter, and Beech 1900. Our state of the art facilities are dedicated solely to aircraft parts distribution, offering a dynamic and professional environment for passionate aviation professionals.
The Role:
As our newest Aircraft Spare Parts Salesperson, you'll work as part of a team in Cairns, helping grow our market presence and ensure customer satisfaction across the aviation sector. This is a full time role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take ownership of customer accounts and sales processes.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop relationships with customers, corporate & charter operators to allow CJ Aerospace to gain a higher strength in the market
- Being responsible for quoting & following up with the customer, processing purchase orders, ordering parts, monitoring shipping & ensuring the customer receives their order in a timely manner
- Work closely with the warehouse to ensure timely shipping of goods to our customers
- Interface directly with customers, major suppliers & industry to support all strategic marketing & sales initiatives
- Further develop sales procedures & policies
- Meet monthly & annual sales targets
- Increase the company's database by cold calling, emailing & meeting potential customers
- Maintain contact with all existing customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests & potential for new products or services
Skills and experience:
- Demonstrated understanding of the General Aviation Industry in Australia
- Strong negotiation & interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task & be team focused
- Excellent presentation & communication skills required
- Competent computer skills including MS office
- Experience with Quantum spare parts inventory software (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work independently
- Strong customer focus

- A can-do attitude with commitment to reaching targets & goals
- Be able to keep commitments to customers
- Have a high energy level and an ability to handle multiple tasks & information sources
