About the role

NQ Crash & 4WD Spares is seeking a dedicated Parts Interpreter to join our team in Cairns, Tropical Far North Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with sourcing the right parts and accessories for their vehicles, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience.

Our ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running with their experience and make a difference within our team right from the start.

What you'll be doing

  • Identify and locate the appropriate parts and accessories for customers' vehicles based on their specific requirements
  • Provide advice and guidance to customers on part compatibility and installation
  • Interpreting parts enquiries - via Phone, retail customers over the counter, tradesmen and online
  • Quoting/invoicing/processing payments in a timely manner in order to reach sales objectives
  • Collaborate with the Warehouse and Dismantle teams to ensure timely and accurate parts delivery
  • Contribute to the overall customer satisfaction and success of the business

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Parts Interpreter or in a similar automotive parts role
  • Excellent knowledge of automotive parts, systems, and components
  • Exceptional customer service skills and problem-solving skills including a professional phone manner
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using parts catalogues and inventory management systems
  • Immaculate professional presentation and be punctual, reliable and have a strong worth ethic
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
