Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced AR Accountant to join our team at Michael Page. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support for billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert support for billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes.
- Recommend improvements for AR processes and procedures.
- Reconcile and monitor general ledger accounts.
- Investigate customer inquiries and provide top-tier service.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Assist the AR Team Lead with new process implementation and tool development.
- Manage AR email inboxes and respond to customer inquiries.
- Handle billing for various accounts, including rent, IT fees, and other expenses.
- Oversee cash reconciliation for company funds and online transactions.
- Process bank statements and one-time invoices.
- Send reminders to customers and stakeholders.
- Create and maintain customer records and accounts.
- Generate direct debit batches and process payments.
- Perform month-end close activities and confirm account balances.
- Prepare and analyze AR-related reports and metrics.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- Experience and expertise in the field of accounts receivable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
