Gamuda Engineering is a leading engineering and construction contractor specializing in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of transport, civil, and energy infrastructure projects. With offices in Sydney and Melbourne, we are committed to expanding our presence in the Australian market.

We are currently delivering major projects such as the $2.16B Sydney Metro West – Western Tunnelling Package and have commenced work on joint ventures for the $1.35B Coffs Harbour Bypass and the $1bn M1 Motorway Extension Southern Package. We have been shortlisted for several significant transport infrastructure projects in Melbourne and are pursuing opportunities in the infrastructure and energy sectors across Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania, and South Australia.

The Role

As Senior Infrastructure Development Manager, you will work closely with our Chief Revenue Officer to identify strategic project opportunities and develop winning bid campaigns and strategies. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying opportunities that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Built strong relationships with clients and key external stakeholders.
  • Developing partnering arrangements with potential Joint Venture partners, consultants, and supply chain.
  • Driving design innovation, value engineering, and best practice across our Pre-contracts function.
  • Collaborating closely with our Engineering and Construction teams to produce the best possible outcomes for the business.

Your skills & experience

You will ideally have degree qualifications in Civil Engineering or similar and local or international experience working with major construction companies in both the successful winning and delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects. Your specific skills and experience will include:

  • Successfully leading Pre-contracts and Bid Teams within the Australian infrastructure market.
  • Established relationships with key client stakeholders, contractors, and design consultancies.
  • The ability to think and plan strategically across a national portfolio of project opportunities.
  • A track record of delivering innovation and efficiencies in Pre-contracts space.

Gamuda Engineering offers a competitive salary package of around AU$150,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, plus benefits and bonuses.
