Looking for a challenging opportunity in the field of infrastructure development? We have an exciting position available for a Senior Infrastructure Development Specialist at KBR Inc.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to lead our transmission and distribution team. As a Senior Infrastructure Development Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and direction to project teams. Your expertise in transmission line design will enhance the technical skills of our electrical team, while your extensive experience in managing transmission and distribution projects in Australia will ensure the success of our endeavors.

Main Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in electrical engineering or a relevant discipline;
  • A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in the transmission and distribution sector;
  • Extensive experience in relevant infrastructure project development and delivery;
  • Subject Matter Expertise in transmission & distribution;
  • Leadership experience in leading and managing design and development teams;
  • Chartered Professional Engineer accreditation highly regarded;
  • Well-connected in the utilities and renewable energy zone (REZ) space with a strong professional network;
  • The ability to support business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the transmission lines and REZ sector to support KBR's business development;
  • Experience with building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and project success;
  • Experience with developing relationships, partners, and government entities in new markets;

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as flexible working arrangements, ongoing professional development opportunities, and a supportive and trusting environment. You will also receive eight additional hours of accrued flexible leave every four weeks, and the opportunity to work with technically eminent professionals.
