About the Position:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead our strategy and planning initiatives.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and embed strategic planning frameworks, translating business objectives into clear priorities and execution roadmaps
  • Lead competitor analysis, market scanning, and external benchmarking to deliver actionable insights
  • Identify, assess, and pilot new product opportunities that align with commercial viability and strategic goals
  • Oversee business case development and provide M&A support, including due diligence and integration planning
  • Chair governance forums, track initiatives against value targets, and ensure strategic risks are effectively managed
  • Build and lead a high-performing, values-driven team culture while influencing leadership capability across the organization

About You

  • 7+ years' experience in strategy, corporate development, or management consulting
  • Strong background in strategic planning, M&A, and business case development
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Financial services, asset leasing, or capital-intensive industry experience (fleet, novated, automotive or mobility highly regarded)
  • Proven ability to deliver insights through competitor analysis, market intelligence, and commercial modeling
  • Skilled in strategic frameworks (OKRs, SWOT, scenario planning) with advanced Excel and PowerPoint capability
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience influencing senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • A collaborative and resilient leadership style with strong commercial acumen and risk awareness
