Job Title

A Senior Relations Specialist is required to draw on substantial expertise in Industrial Relations and interpret complex Enterprise Agreements.

  • Draw on substantial expertise in Industrial Relations and interpret complex Enterprise Agreements.
  • Play a critical role in payroll compliance and driving effective remediation processes.
  • Collaborate across departments, partnering with Legal teams to clarify and action compliance requirements, coordinating with Project Managers to ensure milestones are met, and engaging with IT professionals to translate IR needs into technical solutions.
  • Design comprehensive testing regimes and robust review processes to ensure the payroll platform meets current obligations and remains resilient to future regulatory changes.
Key Requirements

Considerable experience in industrial/employee relations, including specialist expertise in employment law.

  • Hands-on payroll experience, understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, and a proven track record of implementing compliance measures in large organisations.
  • Experience engaging with Unions and a strong understanding of union priorities and practices.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present findings, explain regulatory considerations, and facilitate training.
  • Tertiary qualification in Employee/Industrial Relations/Human Resources/Law or related discipline.
