
Senior Industrial Relations Specialist

- This role is part of a landmark urea project, one of the largest in Australia and globally, utilizing environmentally friendly methods to ensure long-term benefits to the local community.
The project will generate 2,000 jobs during construction and provide extensive training, career opportunities, and business partnerships.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic industrial relations plans to align with project objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with unions, worker representatives, and labor contractors.
- Negotiate collective bargaining agreements and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Manage conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, and maintain harmony across the workforce.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of ER/IR experience in large-scale EPC or heavy industrial/construction projects.
- Deep knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations frameworks, and employment regulations in Australia.
- Proven ability to handle union negotiations, grievance procedures, and labor contractor management.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
