Job Title: Business Growth Manager

We are seeking a seasoned professional to manage the top-line growth of our convenience and grocery businesses in Australia. This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for driving business expansion.

About the Role
  • Owning the strategy for growing revenue, setting the right goals, making trade-offs, and looking for resources across the business will be important.
  • Reporting to the business on growth and progress against plan.
  • Understanding customer base and their use cases at the lowest level.
  • Working with finance to make trade-offs in investment and growth pricing and promotion strategy.
  • Partnering with Product Engineering, Data Science, and Machine Learning teams to conceptualize, build, and roll out product features and enhancements improving the Customer shopping experience.
  • Partnering with marketing and Customer teams to plan and deploy in-market communications and marketing driving awareness and adoption of our services.

You will report into the Senior Manager Australia New Verticals and work closely with your peers in New Verticals and strategic finance as well as Canadian and US peers.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the top-line growth of one of our largest lines of business.
  • Build a growth strategy that educates and engages Australian customers in what new categories we are offering.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, consumer, product, sales, CRM, and merchandising to market and grow the Australian convenience, grocery, and alcohol business.
  • Leverage quantitative skills drawing insights from customer interviews and surveys, looking at patterns within our customer data, and applying those learnings to build a growth strategy for the country.
  • Work on the success of key enterprise clients across the world.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of previous experience in consulting, banking, or general management at a technology company, e-commerce marketplace company, or equivalent experience.
  • A proven track record of leading initiatives working cross-functionally to achieve goals and succeeding in a team environment.
  • Quantitative fluency in both SQL and Excel.
  • Solve problems from first principles.
  • Obsessed with our customers, wanting to know everything about how they use us and what they wish they could use more for.
