As a manager on our international new verticals team, you will play a key role in growing our third-party convenience and grocery businesses in Australia.

About the Role
  • Lead top-line growth for our convenience and grocery businesses in Australia, driving delivery volume, subtotals, and selection.
  • Develop strategies to boost revenue, making informed tradeoffs and leveraging resources across the business.
  • Report progress against plan, providing insights into customer behavior and use cases.
  • Partner with finance to optimize investment and growth, such as pricing and promotion strategy.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science & Machine Learning teams to enhance customer shopping experiences.
  • Work with marketing and Customer teams to deploy in-market communications and marketing campaigns.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Australia New Verticals, and work closely with peers in New Verticals, strategic finance, and Canadian and US teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage top-line growth of one of DD Australia's largest lines of business.
  • Develop a growth strategy that educates and engages Australian customers in new categories offered by DoorDash.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, consumer product, sales, CRM, and merchandising teams to market and grow the Australian convenience, grocery, and alcohol business.
  • Apply quantitative skills to build a growth strategy for the country, leveraging customer data and insights.
  • Contribute to the success of key enterprise clients worldwide.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, banking, or general management at a technology company, e-commerce, or marketplace company.
  • Proven track record of leading initiatives, working cross-functionally, and succeeding in a team environment.
  • Fluency in both SQL and Excel.
  • Able to solve problems from first principles.
  • Passionate about customers, wanting to understand their needs and preferences.
