About the Role

DPV Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Disability Instructor to join our team. As a Disability Instructor, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support to participants to assist in achieving their goals and outcomes
  • Support clients to participate in age-appropriate activities and tasks, including employment, education, recreation, adult living skills, and community access and participation
  • Make suggestions to improve service to participants and implement in consultation with the participant, family, representative, and team
  • Implement individual communication strategies and assist in development and evaluation
  • Work within a team environment to provide and implement our Excellent Care values to achieve best participant and team outcomes
  • Work in accordance with all DPV Health policy and procedures, including the National Quality and Safeguard Standards

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in the disability sector

  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide and implement Excellent Care values
  • Ability to work in accordance with all DPV Health policy and procedures
