Job Description

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee Kelato's day-to-day operations, providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure profitability and sustainable growth. This hands-on role requires a leader who can balance high-level strategy with operational execution and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute business strategies to achieve organisational goals, including expansion into new markets.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations, including supply chain optimisation and process improvement.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budgets, monitor performance, and implement initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a collaborative team, fostering a positive workplace culture.
  • Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Strengthen relationships with suppliers, distributors, and customers while maintaining high service standards.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to legal regulations and company policies while proactively managing risks.
About You

We're looking for a proactive leader with the following attributes:

  • Experience: 10+ years in a leadership role, preferably in animal health, equine, or agribusiness sectors, although candidates from other sectors will be considered.
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and hands-on operational expertise.
  • Leadership: A proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, evolving market.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of supply chain processes and marketing strategy is a plus.
Benefits

A competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this role.
