Job Title: School Nurse
">Job Summary:The School Nurse will be responsible for managing the health care of students and attending to administrative tasks related to student well-being. This role requires a kind and empathetic individual who can work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical care and support to students with various health needs
- Maintain accurate and thorough health records and documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external health professionals to ensure student well-being
- Develop and implement health promotion programs for students
- Participate in regular training and professional development days
Requirements:
- Current registration with AHPRA and NMBA as Registered Nurse able to practise in NSW
- Current CPR and Senior First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
- Training in anaphylaxis and asthma management
- At least 5 years of nursing experience, ideally in a school setting
- Paediatric nursing experience is desirable
