
Senior Business Development Lead

This role is responsible for leading a business development function, securing and retaining key business in Australia.
- Drive strategic planning and revenue generation, and support partnership development
- Facilitate robust decision-making, including with senior leaders, executive and board
- Pay attention to the full business development lifecycle from capture and retention planning, to monitoring win rates and evaluating return on investment
- Support and coach the bid writers
You will be responsible for coordinating and drafting high-quality tenders and proposals that meet funder requirements, managing multi-disciplinary bid teams, and presenting complex ideas clearly and tailored to audiences. A tertiary qualification in a relevant field and foundation or practitioner certification to the Association of Proposal Management Professionals would be beneficial. You have a can-do attitude and share commitment to positively impact the lives of children and young people.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive business development strategy
- Leading a team of bid writers and supporting their growth and development
- Coordinating and managing large-scale tenders and proposals
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes
As a Business Development Manager, you will be working closely with senior leaders, executive, and board members to drive strategic planning and revenue generation. You will also be responsible for facilitating robust decision-making, paying attention to the full business development lifecycle, and supporting and coaching the bid writers.
