Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and driven Chef to join our team of professionals in a dynamic environment that celebrates creativity and quality.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Menu Preparation & Execution: Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standard in line with our innovative menu offerings.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen team to create and update seasonal menus and daily specials.
  • Kitchen Leadership: Lead and support the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
  • Hygiene & Safety Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards, ensuring a safe kitchen environment for staff and patrons.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor kitchen inventory levels, manage stock, and minimize food wastage.
  • Training & Mentoring: Train junior kitchen staff to uphold the high standards Black Fire is known for.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all dishes meet our rigorous quality control standards before they reach the table.
About You

We are looking for a Chef who is passionate about food and eager to bring creativity and dedication to our team. Ideally, you will have:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a similar Chef role, preferably in a fine-dining or upscale restaurant setting.
  • Culinary Expertise: Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques, food presentation, and flavor pairings.
  • Teamwork: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to supervise and inspire junior kitchen staff.
  • Attention to Detail: A keen eye for quality and presentation in every dish.
  • Qualifications: Relevant culinary certifications are desirable but not mandatory.
